Crabbes Creek Cottages is a rural guest development of 6 cottages, The House & The Bales which are all located amidst gardens & natural bushland to allow as much privacy for guests as is possible over 32 acres. All accommodation is also as environmentally sustainable as possible with above & underground rainwater tanks & aerated septic irrigation systems. The Bales offers rustic charm with the comforts of a home - dining setting for 8 inside, as well as outdoors. Kitchen windows overlook the high creek bed & the resident birdlife is always changing. A second outdoor shower is practical & special! A huge fig dominates the entrance & there is an expansive lawn area for ball games.
What to see & doPlay cricket on the lawns, watch the wildlife around the creek, explore the rest of the property, BBQ a feast, walk to the General Store, forage in the vegie & herb garden, cycle the valley road, birdwatch, read, play boardgames, watch DVDs from the extensive library or just sit & unwind! Re-connect with family & friends. And that's just around the property.
Drive to the many beautiful beaches, hinterland towns, Mt Warning & national parks, + attractions like Crystal Castle, Stokers Siding Pottery, Tweed Art Gallery, Tropical Fruit World. TV reception may not be wonderful & mobile reception can be intermittent, but read a book or magazine, or play a board or card game from the shelves, or borrow a DVD from Reception.

Main bedroom has Queen bed, 2nd has 2 King singles, 3rd sleeping area with single bed & trundle, is curtained off from a wide hallway that has 2 more single beds. Portacot & highchair available. Permanent bedding sleeps 8 but a foldaway can be added. All linen is provided except beach towels. Extra towels, blankets etc. are kept in wardrobes & vanity.
Minimum booking length is 2 nights.
School holidays, long weekends, Xmas & Easter attract the highest rate. Extra guests $20 pn as tariff based on 4 guests.
