Ocean Break is a well equipped holiday apartment on two levels with 180° ocean view and only 3 minutes walk to the beach. The open plan living, dining and kitchen area has a comfortable ambience that will encourage you to relax and forget the frenetic pace of everyday life.

Through full length glass doors that fold completely to the side, you can step out onto your deck and have an uninterrupted view of the ocean. Sit on your balcony and watch the whales and dolphins or set off on a long uninterrupted beach walk.

Two queen size bedrooms with ensuites mean that Ocean Break is a perfect choice for up to four people for a fuss free beach escape. There is also a third bathroom with a deep Japanese bathtub. This room houses the laundry behind a wall of cabinetry which effectively hides the workplace from view.

Tura Beach is in the beautiful Bega Valley Shire and is part of the Sapphire Coast. This area covers one eighth of the NSW coastline and stretches 223 kilometres from Bermagui in the north to Eden and the Victorian border in the south.

Tura Beach is 465km south of Sydney (6 hours drive), 586km north of Melbourne (7 hours drive) and 241km east of Canberra (3 hours drive).

Within five minutes drive of Ocean Break are the cafes, restaurants and boutique shops of Merimbula. There is a cinema and tourist bureau as well as a large supermarket. The hotel near the bridge has excellent dining and wine selection.

Alternatively you could walk to the shops in Tura Beach for your groceries, meat (excellent butcher), alcohol, newspapers and bakery items. The Tura Beach Country Club is nearby for an enjoyable night out.

Take a scenic drive to nearby Tathra Beach historic wharf and visit the numerous art galleries along the way. At Bega you can sample some fine cheeses at the Bega Cheese Factory and also visit the local wineries. There's lots to see and do near Tura or just relax and soak up the sun.

Within an easy drive of Ocean Break there are several National Parks.
Spectacular coastal scenery is a major feature of Ben Boyd National Park with rugged cliffs, rock formations, sea caves and hills covered with banksia forests and flowering heaths. Bournda National Park has outstanding conservation value, containing beaches, fresh and saltwater lakes,lagoons and creeks and a variety of birds and wildlife. Mimosa Rocks National Park is 22km north-east of Bega and features a jagged coastline with natural rock formations, caves, cliffs and headlands. The Park is a favorite for surfers, fishermen, divers and birdwatchers.

City Week of Golf: 1st to 7th November 2008
A tournament open to Men and Ladies with recognised Australian golf handicaps. The tournament is played on Eden, Bermagui, Candelo, Tathra, Bega and Tura Beach golf courses during Melbourne Cup week annually.

Ocean Break has two queensize bedrooms with ensuites and is designed to accommodate two couples in comfort. From the lightfilled bedroom on the upper level guests can look along the southern deck to the ocean.

The second bedroom is on the lower level and also has beautiful views out to sea. In front of the lower bedroom is a second outdoor sitting area so that two couples can separately enjoy views of the ocean should you wish to have your own spaces.

We believe that Ocean Break has been furnished and equipped to a high level in order that our guests enjoy a beach holiday that will refresh and restore. To this end we include linen and house towels to make life easier for you. All you have to bring are your beach towels.
