"The tranquility was awesome! Very appropriately named! The house was spacious and airy; providing magnificent panoramic views. The space ensured that adults and children alike had plenty of room...both inside & out. Lovely touches such as games and reading material as well as the ever popular Table tennis & Biliards table.The guided walk/waterfall was spectacular and a real highlight of our stay. I would thoroughly recommend "Tranquility" as a family place to stay. We had 2 families with 4 adults and 5 children and there was still plenty of room!"

"Fantastic, beautiful, relaxing, kid friendly, private, are just the first things that come to mind. Anne and Mark were great hosts, very helpful they have the balance just right. There are amazing waterfalls on the property, a great pool, the bedrooms are beautiful the views sensational. It is very private, you feel like you are in the middle of the Daintree. One of the best things was that Anne did a big grocery shop for us before we arrived. So the cupboards were loaded with food, so we could get straight into holidaying and not rush off to the shops.
I know it looks expensive but it is so worth it. You wont be disappointed."

The gardens and the water falls were absolutely breath taking. Craig and Di could not do enough for us. This is a place that outshines anywhere we have stayed in the world. "Tranquility on the Daintree would rate as one of the most relaxing, peaceful and truly enjoyable holidays our family has ever taken. There is something for everyone. The children just loved swimming in the water holes, fishing in the river and creeks and exploring the area. The house is a beautiful, spacious and very well maintained multi-level house with all the comforts of home. There is a pool table, swimming pool and a cupboard full of board games for the kids. All you will need to bring is the food. There is more then enough room for two families. Diane and Craig were both wonderful hosts. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we all felt very welcomed. It is a place that you will always remember and tell your friends about, my children keep asking when we are going back to the Daintree, and we enjoyed it so much I am sure we will go back.
