Snowy Mountain Holidays is located in the rural town of Towong in NE Victoria. Built on a knoll, we overlook the Upper Murray River and onto the Snowy Mountains Range.

The views from here are magnificent, the area in general a quiet pastoral wonder world.

We offer two cottages, uniquely constructed with open beams and a cosy atmosphere. The cottages are fully self-contained with linen provided. Many of the furnishings are hand made or antique which add to the ambience and country character of your stay.

Each cottage has a separate bedroom and sleeps up to 4-6 people. We also offer B&B accommodation in our log home.

All meals are available with advance notice. We serve 3 course dinners in the dining room of our log home, small and personalised. Breakfast starts with fresh fruits, cereal, juice, ground coffee, tea and finishes with local free range eggs, bacon, tomatoes (fresh from the garden when in season) and home made bread for toast. A continental breakfast consists of all of the above without the eggs and bacon. Breakfast can be served in the dining room or provided in your cottage.

Your pets are welcome here. They are allowed inside if clean and dry, but are not allowed on any furniture. Please bring your pet's bedding. There are nice walks and lots of river fun for them.

We are 10 minutes from Corryong, Victoria; 1 ½ hours drive from Albury, NSW; 5 hours drive from Melbourne and 6 hours drive from Sydney.

We are small and personalised and do our best to make your stay memorable and pleasant.

The greatest attractions in the area are the beautiful views combined with country simplicity which has not changed in years. Sightseeing drives to historic and quiet destinations are the perfect way to enjoy the views. We are close to 3 National Parks which provide a variety of bush walks or you can enjoy the walks right here beside the Murray River.

Bird life is abundant. There is good fishing, canoeing and swimming in the warmer weather. The roads in the area are excellent for both motorcycling and bicycling.

Build in hand hewn style, Snowy Mountain Holidays has an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere from the architecture to the gardens to the views. Each cottage has been equipped with most household necessities, so all you have to bring is clothing and food.

We offer guided trout fishing trips with (both fly and spin) using canoes and sight seeing canoe trips.

Pets are welcome and clean dogs are allowed inside by arrangement.
