"The toilet water was turned off when we arrived, once we found it was turned off turned it on, at first we did not know it leaked until next morning the floor was flooded, tap leaked.
Went to check on Sunday morning, found no one in attendance, told by phone the water problem, no real interest.
Confusion about the #100 desposit I paid to Take a Break, they were going to charge me extra."

"The location to the small township and beach was great. The set-up 'The Edge on Beaches' has with their apartments is really good and is like its own little village. The apartment was clean and tidy, although I did feel it was slightly overpriced, maybe this was due to it being school holidays. But we enjoyed our time there."

"Very clean, spacious and modern rooms. Would have preferred a different style of curtains because the ones they have don't allow you to open to the light with any privacy.

Unfortunately our room was near the main roads so we heard noise from there during the day (nights were fine). This can be avoided by using the poolside rooms which are further inside the complex. The walls were paper thin so we could hear the neighbours talking etc. (this appears to be a problem with a lot of the Agnes Water accommodation as we had friends and family staying in other places and they made the same comments. In comparison, we were happy with our choice.

We didn't need to ask for anything because the rooms were very well furnished. Our dealings with staff was minimal but pleasant. (we asked them to replace a light bulb and they did it immediately).

The in-room facilities were great - large shower (2 shower heads!), internal laundry with dryer, everything new and clean. Spacious, clean and well equipped kitchen.

Outside, we were put off with the style of pools because they appeared to be designed for use for exclusive guests rather than for everyone.

We didn't use the bbq facilities but they looked fabulous with a great entertaining area."
