Unique in their attention to detail each self contained bungalow has it’s own magnificent views out over the bay, stretching all the way to the Bustard Bay Lightstation. Each night watch the sunset over the water from your private deck.

Discovered by Lt James Cook in the year of 1770, the Town of 1770 remains unspoilt and secluded, surrounded by pristine national parks and magnificent waterways. Brilliant for fishing, boating, exploring, swimming or just relaxing and with the 1770 Marina only a stroll away, you can also experience the Great Barrier Reef in under 90 minutes, you won’t want to leave.

As I watch this timeless view that is as ancient as the distant hills' I realise the outside world, dates & timetables simply don't belong here. Here I could be anywhere in the world but with a heartfelt "thanks" I am so lucky to be right here!

EnjoyTown of 1770 - Agnes Water offers heaps of activities for all the family including snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef, exploring in the protected Fitzroy Reef Lagoon or Lady Musgrave Island, surfing, scuba diving, Riding the LARC, a pink amphibious vehicle that experiences unspoilt beaches, estuaries, Bustard Head Bay and lighthouse. You can go deepsea or estuary fishing, canoeing, kayaking, bushwalking, 4WDing and exploring.
Town of 1770 - Agnes Water is an idyllic escape where relaxing is also a must, so don't forget to pack a good book and kick back like the locals!

We have one & two bedroom bungalows. Our two bedroom bungalows can sleep up to six people. A portacot, baby linen and a highchair are also available for infants.
Minimum booking length is 2 nights.
Our peak time is Christmas and Easter Holidays and school holidays. We have a minimum five night stay at these times.
