"A lovely cottage, such a nice surprise after a 3hr drive, great location, fantastic for us with our 2 "fur children" with a nice safe & secure back area. Lots of lovely little touches in the cottage which were much appreciated, specially the Port & Chocs! I would recommend this to anyone wanting a peaceful break."

"What a fantastic place to stay - especially for those who want to bring their dog! Quiet and peaceful surroundings, ideal for a relaxing time.
Lovely garden surroundings with fully fenced yard for your dog, delightful views from the verandas, great for walking the dog along the river bank.
Extremely well-equipped cottage - nothing else needed. Plenty of hot water for showers; heating and cooling excellent. Lovely breaky provisions - plenty of home-grown eggs etc.
Extremely welcoming and pleasant owners who were friendly but did not intrude on our privacy.
Very thoughtful touches such as a welcoming vase of Rhonda's beautiful roses and a birthday card for hubby's 60th birthday!
Even our dog was spoilt with bowls and treats provided! Will certainly go again, but for longer stay."

"The site is private and scenic near the river a minutes walk away and in view of the front veranda with the all important BBQ where we did most of our evening meals with a glass or two. You are spoilt by the owners who go far and beyond what others provide. very comfortable."

"I can recommend sunset cottage to anyone 100%. I have stayed in many different places around Australia (some being 5star), Rhonda is the most welcoming and helpful lady. If your looking for somewhere comfortable and relaxed that you can take your dog, then this is it :)
Everything you need is there - right down to towels for your dog after that little play in the river :) This is a beautiful clean and well thought out accomadation - i won't be staying anywhere else in the murray river area !
I agree with previous comments - Rhonda is helpful without being invasive :)
I will be back and hopefully soon !!

"The cottage was comfortable, clean and extremely good value. We have seldom been anywhere as well equipped, and there were lots of generous, welcoming touches. Sunset Cottage is beautifully situated and was very relaxing, and has a secure back garden for dogs. Rhonda and Bruce were friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. We'd definitely return. "

"Our stay at Sunset Cottage was wonderful. It was just what we were looking for. Rhonda and Bruce were great hosts and everything we (and our little puppy Hannah) needed was provided for.
The cottage was comfortable and clean just perfect for a relaxing stay. From our verandah the sunsets were magnificent. Being close to the river we took the opportunity to take extended walks and simply enjoy country life.
We are looking foward to visiting again in the near future.

The ease of access to the river makes it VERY convenient if you are a boat owner. Unfortunately we are not! We took our dog, and the cottage is very well set up for pets with a fenced dog yard behind the cottage."
