The animal enclosure is a unique feature of Bellbrae Country Club housing a Clydesdale horse, donkeys, sheep, goats, geese, ducks, chickens, rabbits and native birds. The animal feeding time is a great fun activity for guests of all ages and there's the famous Holiday Concepts Pancake Breakfast.

Nearby Torquay is the home of Australia's most famous surf beach - Bells Beach where the annual Easter Classic is held and the birth place of some of Australia's icon clothing and surf brand names including Billabong, Quicksilver and Roxy.

It is also the start of the most famous stretch of roadway in Australia, namely "The Great Ocean Road".
