Mountain Park Retreat Toodyay is on the Perth side of Toodyay approximately 75 kilometers (around 1 hours drive) east of Perth. Mountain Park Retreat is a large two storey Queenslander style character built home, with beautiful Verandahs right around to capture the breathtaking views.

Close to the Avon River and Dumbarton Bridge this tranquil 50 acre parcel of private land sets the atmosphere for relaxation, privacy and enjoyment.

There are fabulous features in the home which everyone will enjoy. There is a pool table in the games room and separate Family room with TV/DVD/VHS downstairs and Children's Television room upstairs.

The hills of Toodyay turn green from May onwards, the flowers start budding and the trees smell beautiful after the cleansing rain.
The town of Toodyay has much to offer during the month of June. Just a short drive from Perth to enjoy the ambience of this historical town.Toodyay has the most amazing misty mornings over the hills, with the birds singing, the river flowing and the beautiful trees flowering.Take a leisurely stroll through the historical town. There are many eating places to choose from and many activities, artisans, tours and attractions to experience. Call in at the Toodyay Visitor Centre for further information to plan your "Get Away" and to pick up your local produce.
Wander the street visiting the unique shops of Toodyay or driving to a tourist destination to view the work of the local artisans, Toodyay is a great place to be. Three hotels, four cafes and a fine dining restaurant all offering a different dining experience.

The Julimar State Forest covers an area of 28,600 hectares and consist of extensive jarrah, marri and wandoo woodlands. Animals re-introduced to Julimar by the Department of Environment and Conservation's Western Shield program since 1992 include the chuditch, quenda, woylies and the tammar wallaby.
