Country hospitality at its best! Our family operated Motel offers you clean, modern and spacious rooms in a quiet, off highway location. Our comfortable rooms have kitchenettes, microwaves, electric blankets, irons/boards and much more. Our Motel is close to the Murray River and a short stroll to the shopping centre. Enjoy a friendly and relaxing stay.

Locality

The Bridge Motor Inn is centrally located in the heart of Tocumwal. We are a Four Star Motel, which means you can enjoy the comforts of a home away from home. The Tocumwal area is rich in leisure and adventure activities. There is quite literally something for everyone, Challenge the local golf courses, get a bird's eye view from joy flights and gliding, bush walking, wineries, water sports, bowling or if you chose you can simply just relax beside the pool.

Tocumwal is situated on the Murray River, where the Newell Highway crosses the river.

Property

Rounds of golf can be organized on your behalf at a number of courses in close proximity to our motel - Tocumwal (the President’s course or the Captain’s course - 2 of the best courses on the Murray); Finley; Cobram-Barooga or Yarrawonga.

Have a few refreshing drinks after the round without the worries of drink driving. Transfer between the various courses is in our 21 seater Toyota Coaster mini bus at no extra cost.

Evening meals can be arranged at a number of interesting venues depending on your budget.

Tocumwal has enjoyed a rich aviation history. In the second world war the airport was used to train Liberator Bomber Pilots at this stage it was the largest in the southern hemisphere. There is memorabilia at the aerodrome amongst the gliding and pilot training facilities.

There is a huge variety of bushwalking tracks available for the enthusiast to the hard core hiker there is something for everyone.

Based on the Murray River water sport is a must do, form adventure tours in an ex army duck to water skiing, the Murray offers unlimited opportunities to cool down. There are 26 beaches to choose from in the local area.
