The Winterhaus provides warm and inviting accommodation in Thredbo for both summer and winter holiday-makers. Enjoy the European style and comfortable interiors, close to village and resort facilities. Our accommodation in Thredbo also offers stunning mountain views from most rooms.

This idyllic slice of NSW holiday accommodation is the perfect place to stay and experience the charm of the alpine region. Take time out to explore the village's fashion emporiums, boutique bars and cafes. Our lodge has all the modern conveniences you would expect from quality NSW holiday accommodation.

Relax in the lounges' warm firelight or retire to your centrally heated guest room. This superb example of NSW holiday accommodation also features private ski lockers, laundry. This property is only Bed and Breakfast and evening meals are not available onsite, however a variety of restaurants and dining options are all within walking distance. Full range can be found in your guest compendium.

1. This is an excellent lodge to stay in, with the one difficulty being the number of steps you have to negotiate to get to the lodge either from the top road or the road below. The trick is not to carry too much luggage. But once there, the view is great, the accommodation good and the hospitality first rate.

Locality

Thredbo Village, 6 hours from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 1/2 hours from Canberra. Major bus companies, ie Greyhound Coachlines run regular services from Sydney and Transborder from Canberra.

Property

Thredbo offers a great vacation for everyone. During Winter try Australia's longest ski runs, great bars or enjoy a workout at the Thredbo Leisure Centre.

During the warmer months there is an abundance of activities including bush walks, music festivals, Thredbo Bobsled, horse riding, fishing and a great array of restaurants.
