1. This is an excellent lodge to stay in, with the one difficulty being the number of steps you have to negotiate to get to the lodge either from the top road or the road below. The trick is not to carry too much luggage. But once there, the view is great, the accommodation good and the hospitality first rate.

Major bus companies, ie Summit Coachlines run regular services from Sydney and Canberra and Qantas offers flights into Cooma, 45 minutes drive to Thredbo. PropertyThredbo offers a great vacation for everyone. During Winter try Australia's longest ski runs, great bars or enjoy a workout at the Thredbo Leisure Centre.
