Three uniquely "Freo" dwellings, set amongst air cooling ponds and organic vegetable gardens offer guests the perfect setting for relaxation and contemplation; an oasis within a stone's throw of the excitement of Fremantle.

Sustainability is a focus at The Painted Fish. Guests will experience developments such as photovoltaics, rain water harvesting, and innovative heating and cooling systems in a series of climatically sensitive, retrofitted dwellings. .

The property is also a living gallery, with many local artists providing soft furnishings, sculpture and paintings.

The Painted Fish is three blocks from popular South Beach, and a quiet stroll to Fremantle. Many restaurants, cafes, art galleries and shops are a quick walk from your room. Regular public transport, or our free bicycles make it easy to get to Freo.
