Perhaps your more adventurous and prefer to take a tent and pitch it away to a secluded camping spot, to enjoy together snuggled with a friend. Yellow Bank Mountain has many hidden serine places to explore including great water holes to enjoy the hot summer day and to fish for fresh water Yellowbelly and Cod. Yellow Bank Mountains fresh running water will take you canoeing and rubber rafting as well, the choice is yours. you can trek, hike, climb, bush walk, mountain bike ride,stalk, bird watch, gaze, and breathe fresh air all at Yellowbank Mountain, and in the evening relax around the camp fire, or enjoy the games room shearing shed, then sleep well in a clean comfortable bush room

Locality

We are 10 kilometres from the Glenlyon Dam which caters for all water sport activities. We are close to many national parks 'Sun State" being our closest, Tenterfield is surrounded by national parks and rock climbing, Wineries are throughout the area between Tenterfield and Stanthorpe, we have two renowned wineries on both side of us, a trip to these can be arranged.

Tenterfield is a town of history, being the birthplace of a Nation, and the home to the Tenterfield Saddler and Peter Allen.

A town of beautiful seasons with spring displaying its glory.Spend a week in Tenterfield and you will experience a week of peace

Yellow Bank Mountain situated on the Bruxner Hwy 44 k West of Tenterfield heading towards Goondiwindi the 'Hell of the West'.

A 20 minute drive from the property will take you into the closest town of Tenterfield, where you can enjoy shopping, good hotel/motels and food. and to experience a bit of History.

Backpackers can enjoy the Australian bush experience with our 'from beach to bush' stays, transit on Crisps couches leave daily from Brisbane/Gold Coast to Tenterfield, and we will pick up from there, groups of 10 or more welcome. Email for brochure
