Cottage

This was the original homestead on this 3000 acre property and is brimming with character and beauty in it's recent restoration. The bathroom is designed so you can soak in the bath while languishing in the beautiful views of the Southern Highlands. There are original mosaic motifs throughout the house as well as original flooring, wood fire and a verandah which wraps all around the house, quarried from a local slate quarry. We have allowed for outdoor dinner and sofa settings on the verandah so you can soak up the bliss of the silence and the crisp fresh country air. We have a queen and a double bedroom. A truly lovely escape

We have two beautiful 2-3 hour bush walks for the outdoor enthusiasts.

Locality

We are 25 kilometres from Taralga, a pretty historical village near Goulburn. We are also only half and hour from the Wombeyan caves and 1.5 hours from Jenolan and Abercrombie Caves. We are 50 minutes from Oberon which has terrific fishing and horseriding. The Abercrombie river skirts the border of this property and offers swimming possibilities in summer. Also we have wonderful bushwalks on the property itself

Property

This property sits on a peninsula between two national parks. It has spectacular views of the Great Dividing Range and we also have 3 beautiful bushwalks all lasting between 2 to 3 hours long. There is an abundance of bird and wildlife on the property.

Taralga Golf Club located near Taralga. A nine hole, par 36 course, that is never busy. Free of charge to our customers. It has sand greens to cope with our dry conditions, and fairways that are regularly mown. We have a few sets of right hand clubs and lots of balls, also free of charge to our guests
