Para House offers casual comfort , conveniently located in Tanunda township. This is the ideal location to base yourself to explore all the region has to offer!

The cellar doors of Peter Lehmann Wines, Langmeil Wines and Richmond Grove are located in the same street, and Lambert Wines, Rolf Binder and Simpatico are just around the corner. Take the Para Trail Wine Path, a short stroll that leads past majestic gums as you walk alongside the vineyards. You get the feel of a rural location but on the edge of town.

Walk to the Weintal Hotel and bottleshop, the Barossa Motor Lodge, Tanunda Bakery and the local service station for a morning newspaper. Self catering is encouraged, but there are plenty of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with cafes and eateries located in the main street and dotted throughout the Barossa region.

There are up to three double bedrooms that each feature a queen-sized bed. You will love the character features such as high ceilings and large rooms combined with updated decor and contemporary amenities.

Well-equipped country-inspired timber kitchen has electric stove and hotplates, microwave, dishwasher and a full-size fridge. The adjacent familydining room has access to a cellar. A cosy formal lounge is central to the home and boasts a period gas fireplace for instant warmth in winter. The family room and lounge room both offer split-system reverse-cycle heatingcooling and are both equipped with TVDVD player. There is a library of DVDs and books on hand.

It iis a short 5 minute drive into the main street of Tanunda where you will find restaurants, gift shops, antiques, fashion and homewares, and less than 10 minutes into Nuriootpa or Angaston townships. Hire a bike, book a hot air balloon flight, a private tour or a helicopter flight at Lyndoch (15 minutes away). Take the back road to Maggie Beers famous Farm Shop, just a 5 minute shortcut away. Discover local history, visit the kangaroos at nearby Kaiser Stuhl Conservation Park or arrange a visit to a local spa r
