Cottage, Holiday house


The cottage is furnished with memorabilia reflecting its history. An original bakehouse/cellar is located in the backyard - a quiet spot for a port/wine by candlelight.The cottage offers a home away from home with generous supplies including provisions for continental and cooked breakfast, complimentary port/sherry, other treats. Bathrobes, linen and toiletries provided.
During winter the cottage is a cosy retreat with an open wood fire in addition to a/con.. There is a large assortment of reading material, including many family history books pertaining to the early pioneers of the region. Books about the local area provide insight to the Barossa's history and culture.

The garden which can be floodlit, has numerous fruit trees, herb garden, shadehouse, "chook house" - collect your own fresh eggs. The garden is an ideal spot for taking time out to relax weather permitting

You are assured of a genuine Barossa experience in unique surrounds.
Pets by negotiation only as the property is not fully fenced.

The cottage is situated in the heart of the Barossa at 50 John Street, Tanunda. It provides an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful Barossa Valley and beyond. For example: day trips to Clare, Burra, the Adelaide Hills or the River Murray can be taken with ease.
