Camelot is located in the beautiful Gold Coast Hinterland on Magical Tamborine Mountain. With an AAAT 4.5 star rating our luxury retreat offers the finest certified accommodation and hospitality on the Mountain.

Camelot offers a choice of award winning designer cottages for couples who seek that dream getaway and, in a separate guest wing attached to our single storey farmhouse, we offer the very best in Bed and Breakfast accommodation.

Tamborine Cottage, Hinterland Cottage and St Bernard Cottage have each been specified to a 5 star level by our market leading builders and interior designers to provide the utmost in spacious, open plan comfort. Each cottage includes a huge double spa bath, king sized bed, large shower, double vanity unit, log burner, leather lounge chaise and recliner, LCD TV, DVD/VCR and sound system. The finest towels and spa robes add to the luxury of your cottage. The Kitchen facilities include a dishwasher and mini bar and we provide breakfast hampers throughout your stay.

Our St Bernard Cottage is wheelchair friendly and fully compliant. Further specific details are available on request.

With an AAAT 4.5* rating our Bed and Breakfast facilities are second to none on Tamborine Mountain. Guest accommodation is in our separate guest wing, added in 2000, that contains 3 air conditioned queen bedrooms, all en-suited and opening out onto a large covered deck. Enjoy the guest lounge, complete with wood burner, gazebo or other garden quiet spots enabling you to rapidly unwind and fully relax.

A gourmet breakfast (usually continental or tropical plus a hot dish) will be your pleasure served al fresco on the wide balcony, or in the guest dining room.

NB: Camelot is a couples retreat and children are only accepted when the entire property is booked by one party. Couples arriving with children or infants will be turned away with no refund of deposit.

Locality

Just a few minutes in any direction leads to the Mountain’s attractions – rainforest walks with rock pools and waterfalls, hang-gliding and para-gliding, boutique wineries a distillery and a cheese and ice cream factory.

The multi-featured market takes place on the second Sunday of every month at the Showground that is only a 500 metre walk from Camelot. On the last Sunday of the month a local produce market takes place at the end of Long Road.

A short drive to Gallery Walk will take you to antique and craft shops, tearooms and you can wile away an hour or two shopping for trinkets, nouveau and traditional art and not to mention the adult fudge shop (liqueur based).

Whether the day is crystal clear and sunny or the forests shrouded in mist, you will be revived by Tamborine Mountain’s magical effect.

Property

Property is set up for privacy in the cottages (mainly for couples) and discreet and spacious B&B suites in their own space. We have two acres of parklike grounds, centrally located on the mountain and close to all the 'big 5' attractions.

We occassionally take children midweek if requested directly and if we do then we advise other guests prior to booking. There can be no surprises and guests who arrive with children are turned away and deposits lost.
