3 open door wineries within 3 Klms, we overlook 9th Island Vineyard. We can book a wine tour guide for you.
3 Gourmet restaurants also with 3 Klms, we offer a drop off shuttle.

We are a real Swiss Lodge with conifers and english themed rose cottage garden gardens.
We grow many of our own fruit & vegetables.
Our eclectic furnishings have been collected over 20 years of working abroad, some pieces museum quality.

Or you need to be close to Launceston with some time for relaxation in a quiet retreat this is what we offer.20 minutes to drive to Launceston CBD

Property

Grindelwald Lodge is an authentic Swiss Style Lodge built in 1983 with huge cedar beams and cathedral ceilings.
Master Suite incorporates formal lounge, dining and all these rooms open onto a long terrace with panoramic views.
In the winter months we light the log fire to heat the guest lounge.
Lodge owners reside in a separate Wing of the Main house.
In the Garden is the caretakers cottage called the Swiss cottage which is a separate self contained accomodation alternative. Suitable for (5).
Therefore we can offer accomodation to a group of 12.

Large Show Crate suitable to accomodate dogs less than 25 Kgs overnight inside house in 3rd bedroom with outdoor access and limo floor.
Cleaning penalty for dogs entering carpet area of the cottage.
We have 9 acres and 3 fully fenced yards, so our own dog has her own area.
