"The cottage was a bit too cluttered and dark, but apart from that we enjoyed our stay. The use of the canoe was a big bonus and we thoroughly enjoyed taking it out on the lake. "

"Swan Lake Cottage is a very relaxing place to stay. The attention to detail is amazing, the owners have thought of everything you could need. I particularly loved the front veranda looking over the garden and lake. A great place to relax in the lounge chairs with feet up and a good book. "

"The fireplace made the house warm and cosy. They push bikes in the back shed provided the perfect opportunity to tour the lake and also the two person Hobie Kayak was perfect for taking the children out on the lake. We all had such a great time."

"A lovely weekend was had by all. After a long trip from the city it was lovely to see that everything was ready to go to start a roaring fire and warm us up. Didn't want for anything over the weekend. What a fab place and very affordable."

"There is really everything you need from the bread baking machine over bicycles to a canoe. There are also books and a flatscreen TV with DVD player along with a lovely wood fired oven if the weather is bad. This house is really special, as it is not that kind of artifical as other holiday homes are. It really has personality. And the garden with the barbecues and the fire place, it is a paradise! I would definitely go there again!"

"Absolutely loved it, and what we were looking for for a short break! In particular, loved the charming and 1960's character features of the cottage, and the location in front of the lake. Also the peace and quiet."

"It rained for the four days we were there but it was a fantastic little place and nice and cosy. We got the fire going and it heated the entire place up in no time. Its in a very quiet street and we managed a sleep in until 11am which is something we hadnt done since we were kids. We will be coming back as we had fun. 4 Stars!"

"Your cottage was just what we hoped it would be and we had a great holiday.
We managed to pick a week with pretty rough weather, but no matter, we managed to do something different each day even though the wind nearly blew the hair of the dogs
Thanks for letting us share your hideaway. Noelene & and I (and of course the rebels) are looking forward to a return visit if you will have us.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage - the welcoming fire was fantastic given the weather and made us feel right at home. We loved all the quirky things in the house as well as the peace and surrounding bushland. The fact that we could bring our dog was another bonus. We will be back when it is warmer and we can enjoy the outdoors more."
