* Hire a BBQ boat, you can cruise up to Wavebreak Island and have a BBQ or just stay close and explore all the water ways.

* If shopping is on the agenda, within a 5km radius, Pacific Fair, Australia Fair, Oasis Shopping Centre, Marina Mirage and of course Surfers Paradise. 15 minutes drive and looking for a bargain try Harbour Town Factory Outlets.
