Halls on Falls Homestead is set in lush surroundings on Falls Road in Strath Creek which is nestled in the magnificent 'Valley of a Thousand Hills'.
We are an easy one hour's drive north of Melbourne either up the Hume Freeway or Melba Highway. We promise that when you settle in, it will feel like a million miles away.
We are able to offer overnight/weekend or weekly farmstay accommodation in our new 3 bedroom B&B cottage which can accommodate up to 8 people.

We are blessed to have a magnificent property overlooking Strath Creek and suited for horses and a menagerie of native animals that visit regularly.
We are close to the surrounding towns, Broadford, Yea, Flowerdale, Seymour and Kilmore which are part of the Goulburn River Valley region, the heart of Victoria.

The area surrounding Halls on Falls Homestead has some great hiking tracks, including 'Mt Buggery' located across the creek if you need to burn some energy - 20mins to the top is the record to date (by walking). There are also numerous hiking tracks through the nearby Mt Disappointment State Forest to explore.

Farm animals live on the property, Chickens, Horses, Other farm animals, Guests able to interact with the farm animals.

Apart from our chickens and horses, we also have ducks. Soon our chickens and ducks will be laying their eggs, ready to be collected by our guests. Our 3 resident horses always welcome a brush down from our guests.

On days of rest you are welcome to try your hand at catching some lunch from our yabby filled dam or a relaxed spot of fishing for Silver Perch. We are only 10 minutes drive to Goulburn River fishing spots if you wish to try your hand at catching a trout. Strath Creek also has some secret fishing spots only 5 minutes drive away.

The homestead is set amongst tranquil gardens with seating areas which are great for a chat with a glass of Chardy in hand.

We are located only a short distance from either Yea Golf Club and Seymour Golf Club. Valley View Golf Coaching Centre in Flowerdale is only a 10 minute drive away.

Horse riding

Guests are welcome to bring their own horses.

For those that are able to bring their horse/s on holidays, we have a 40m x 20m fenced horse arena for use and 6 individual paddocks. We have easy access entering and exiting the homestead for those of you towing horse floats. The driveway and parking spaces have been designed to make it easy unloading and loading your horses. We have a full circle driveway to reduce the stress of reversing with a horse float.
For the comfort and ease of guests with horses, you can view the happenings of the horse arena or see what they are up to in their paddock from the comfort of 'The Cottage' lounge room.
