Strahan Bungalows is a quality accommodation business in Strahan, only opening Dec '05. The corrugated iron with curved roof line enhances the character of this property. Fitting in beautifully with the nautical theme dotted throughout the bungalows.Each bungalow has double glazed windows and glass doors for your added comfort, they are all fitted with screens. Each has iron, ironing board, hair dryer, clothes airer, large T.V., shampoo/conditioner, soap, tea & coffee making facilities as well as coffee plunger with plunger coffee, all have a well appointed kitchen with ceramic cook top, microwave and all cooking utensils. Guest laundry on the property, provides washing machine, dryer, washing powder, vacuum cleaner and clothes line.

LocalityWe are a two minute drive and a ten minute walk to all main attractions. We are a block from a safe swimming beach, which is a great beach for the children in the summer months. We are a five minute walk to the beautiful nine hole golf coarse we have in Strahan, and the golf house is very friendly and a great place to meet the local characters of the area. We have two boat ramps very close by, each are less than a minute away. AttractionsGordon River Cruises into the untouched wilderness area. Sea Plane flights as well as helicopter flights over and into the wilderness.Jet boat rides up the King River with connections to 4WD tours upto the Teepookana Plateau. Quad bike tours over amazing sand dunes. Yacht, sailing cruises with cray fish dinner. See an hilarious play about the early convict days. Watch a saw mill demonstration using the working of days gone by, which are still used today. Strahan Bungalows consists of five 2 bedroom apartments. Each bungalow has a queen bed in the first bedroom and 2 single beds in the second bedroom and all have a fold out sofa in the lounge. One has a partition wall in the second bedroom with an extra single bed behind it for extra guests. All have a separate bathroom. All linen and bedding is supplied, including electric blankets, sheets, pillows, spare pillows, pillow cases, doonas, spare blankets, towels,face washers, bath mats, hand towels, mattress protectors and pillow protectors. Cots are available if required for infants. All beds are made up, you don't have to do it yourself.
