Point Lookout's most striking house was designed in the Japanese tradition of elegant spaces and expressed structure to create a zone of quiet contemplation. An innovative mix of raw timber, hi-tech materials and huge openings, the house becomes its native bush setting. Three bedrooms plus sleepout, large decks and a sensual bathhouse complete a stress-sapping environment. Cost: From $220 per night.

Locality

"Aboud Abode" is located at Point Lookout on North Stradbroke Island in Morton Bay, directly east of Brisbane. It is easily accessible from the Brisbane Airport by publice transport.
The property is in the middle of Point Lookout, easy walking distance to patrolled beaches, both Cylinder Beach and Main Beach, both fantastic surfing beaches.
Recreational activities include, deep-sea & beach fishing, diving, walking, surfing, swimming, golf, tennis, whale watching in season, bird watching, hiking and just relaxing.
Lots of spa activities available on the island including massage, yoga, water aerobics & beauty therapies.
