"Lathami Lodge exceeded our expectations. The accommodation was great,well appointed, spotlessly clean and fresh and plenty of space for the six of us (daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons and ourselves,Nan and Pa). The layout of the house worked well and everything we needed was there. The location was superb, beautiful views and sunsets, great wildlife and lovely walks in the adjoining forest. Whilst we did use it as a base to go out visiting other 'sights' there was plenty of interest close to home, with the Bay, Beach and Wildlife Park. The children loved having the kangaroos, wallabies, possums and birds so close to the house and loved the idea that they could go 'exploring'. A peaceful, happy, comfortable and funfilled holiday. "Lathami Lodge was an excellent place for my family and me to celebrate my 60th birthday. The house is spacious, clean and has fantastic views. It is also equipped with everything you can wish for (no need for my electric beater). Our adult children (and we, the parents) had lots of fun playing pool, going for relaxing walks and watching the prolific wildlife at our doorstep. It is well situated for exploring KI. "We had a wonderful, relaxing 7 day stay at Lathami Lodge in Jan 2010. There is loads of room to move and loads to do, from walks around the property to lazing on the deck watching the wildlife. The children had a great time exploring and it's just a short drive to such a perfect swimming and fishing beach. Situated in the pefect point on KI half way pretty much to anywhere making it an easy drive to either end of the island for exploring. "'Lathami Lodge' is a beautiful place to stay. Perched at the top of the hills with a gorgeous view of Stokes Bay. It is wonderfully suited for a group. We went during the April school holidays in 2007 with 2 other families, a total of 10 people of which 4 were teenage boys. The pool table certainly came in handy and there was plenty of space for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are hoping to go back during the next few years. The accommodation and the island were wonderful."

The lodge is built for comfort and every night of our stay we felt we were coming “HOME”. Jane and Brett Gill are marvelous hosts and were very helpful in arranging plans to meet our traveling requirements.
