"We stayed at Tudor Lodge for the first time not knowing what to expect. When we arrived we were swept away by the beautiful landscape garden and inside was even more welcoming. On entering a full size suit of armore and tapistry wall picturs hanging in the foyer and a welcoming smile from the owner. It makes you feel like dressing up in history. Overall we had a fantastic stay and would return again.

"Our stay at Tudor Lodge was very good, probably too short. We had our own "flat" downstairs that also included a nice garden & lawn area. We had our dog with us & it was great to have such "dog friendly" hosts. A nice big breakfast to set us on the road again, lovely folk to deal with."

"Our stay was just great. More than what we expected, especially from the point of view of the hostess, Leila, who is very easy going and most accommodating to her guests' needs. She's not even fussy about payment, as most other places are. We didn't even have to pay a deposit when booking.
Among other things, we loved the cosy feel and the decor of the whole place and the natural and at the same time well-designed landscaping outside our flat.
The breakfast is superb and abundant.
Another plus for us was that, due to the interaction amongst the guests at breakfast time, we made a really nice American friend, Michelle, with whom we have kept in contact since then."

"Fantastic place!! The owners were lovely - very personable, flexible, and happy to help us work out what to do in the surrounding area. The room was comfortable and clean with lots of space for 2 girls and their suitcases. There was also a massive TV room with more than enough entertainment. The 'knightly' decor was a nice touch too. All in all, I'd gladly come back. Highly recommended. "
