Old-fashioned country hospitality in a quiet rural setting, close to wineries and 4 National Parks. Antiques and country decor reflect family history, and include many examples of margaret's embroidery, patchwork, dolls and bears. hearty country breakfasts are served and dinner [ traditional or Indian] is by arrangement, with min. 24 hrs notice req. The combination of country home, personal attention, household pets, farm animals and country rambles offers both a unique experience and value for money.

Locality

The Granite Belt area is well-known for it 's cold winters and many wineries. It has 4 national parks [Girraween, Boonoo Boonoo, Bald Rock, and Sundown] each with its own individual character, and plenty of opportunity for walking, climbing, photography and bird-watching.
Regular markets are held, and the area features a wide variety of dining experiences from up-market restaurants to cellar door cafes.

Jireh is situated on 30 acres.The large garden attracts many kinds of birds, which can be viewed from the comfort of the verandah.
Hearty country breakfasts feature many homegrown ingredients, incluuding Margaret's home-made jam, bread and muffins.
