"It was really a wonderful experience. We wanted to stay longer! It felt like home, as soon as we got back to Brisbane, I looked up the availability for the same time the following year :-) "

"Our short break spent at Glen Robin with our dog was an absolute joy. Everything about this country retreat is perfect - clean cosy house, magical surroundings & the precious farm pets. Also the rates based upon how many nights stay is very appealing as is the inclusion of the continental breakfast and more importantly the allowing of pets. The pride in maintaining this property is exceptional. We loved it! "

"Glen Robin was home away from home. Everything had been thought of to make an incredibly comfortable stay. Looking out the back door to the countryside was magic as was walking for as far as you wanted to. The kids loved the horses and chickens and our host was so patient with them when collecting the eggs and feeding the orphan calf. We'll be back!"

"What can I say? Extremely good service! There are few places where you can find all the necessities for breakfast sitting in the fridge upon arrival. The accommodation was simply devine and who doesn't love the option of a leisurely check out!!!"

"Glen Robin is a great place to have a relaxing break; the home is beautifully presented and the walks around the farm are very picturesque and easy for both two legged and four legged members of the family.
The breakfast was very generous and the service was excellent with the offer of fresh eggs every day. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners who are friendly, helpful and very welcoming, especially to families with pets.
We loved the Shetland ponies who happily spent time with us for great photo sessions. The farm is close to many tourist attractions and we particularly enjoyed lunch at the Ballandean winery. A great place to stay if you have pets and love birds and wildlife.

"Glen Robin exceeded all of our expectations from a farm holiday venue, from the wonderful first morning breakfast hamper to the beautifully decorated and furnished comfortable homely family farm house. Our whole family - myself, husband, two daughters and their hubbies, two grandkids and five dogs were accommodated with plenty of room and comfort. Very safe for our dogs and youngsters, and the joy on the kiddies' faces when they collected the eggs from the chook house was a wonder to behold. Very hospitable hostess and we highly recommend this as a family destination."

"We had a very comfortable and relaxing time on the farm. Our little puppy loved interacting with the chooks and other animals. Glen Robin is certainly our choice for accommodation while taking a short break in the granite belt area. Truely a great place for us to stay. "

"Glen Robin was a lovely 3 bedroom house with every comfort. The beds are comfortable and there was plenty of firewood for the fireplace. My two little dogs loved walking over the farm with us and the dog proof fencing around the house took away any stress. The owners were lovely people and I would recommend to anyone to give the Glen Robin farm stay a try."

"We loved Glen Robin - it was so peaceful, convenient and everything had been thought of to make the stay a home away from home. Thank you so much Lois and Peter, we will return!"
Guest rating: 5/5  - Joanne, QLD - August 09

"We wanted to stay somewhere with our dog. He's very well behaved and housetrained but many properties have a no dog policy. We found the quality of breakfast to be superb and the kitchen well fitted for us to cook.

Our dog had a great time too and spent much of his time either sitting next to the horses or in the middle of the backyard taking in the open space.

We had a truly relaxing time. There's plenty of bedrooms, so we'd think about taking some additional friends next time as well. "
Guest rating: 5/5  - Heather, QLD - August 09

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our hosts were wonderful and the accommodation was comfortable and very well equipped. The country atmosphere and the ability to take part in farm life and interact with farm animals made this a great experience for children."
Guest rating: 5/5  - Liz, QLD - July 09

"Our accommodation for 8 was fantastic. Two families with four children thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen Robin. The hosts were warm and provided those little extras without being intrusive. Excellent value for money and the children loved the whole farm stay experience. Thoroughly recommend to families.

"Our stay was great - we loved the house and felt very welcome there. Stanthorpe is a great little town and we enjoyed spending a few days there. Our children (son and dog) were both welcomed and well catered for. Will return next year!"
Guest rating: 5/5  - Julianne, QLD - June 09

"Highly recommended. Dogs truly welcomed and yard well fenced and clear - our two little white fluffies soon settled in - I think our Maltese thought the Black Shetland was a big black Maltese. Warm informative hosts. Stacks of wood for the heater, and a very generous breakfast hamper - supposed to be for one morning, but was enough for both breakfasts.
House is actually even nicer than it looks in the web-site photos.
We would recommend this stay for anyone with kids and or dogs, and for that matter anyone who appreciates space, comfort and a peaceful rural outlook. Looking for an excuse to go back. We were a party of five adults and the set-up was perfect"

"We had a lovely stay at Glen Robin. Lois and Peter were wonderful hosts and couldn't do enough for us during our stay. Better kitted out than most resort properties we stay in! The dogs had a great time as well! We plan to make it an annual event."
Guest rating: 5/5  - Penny, QLD - August 08

"Had a great stay! Wish it had been longer. Our hosts were very friendly and had the fire started for our arrival. A nice touch when it was so cold. Have recommended the farm to friends and family."

"We stayed for three nights in July. We have now booked to stay another five nights in September. Say no more......."
Guest rating: 5/5  - Donna, QLD - July 08

"Accommodation was fantastic (comfortable and roomy 3-bedroom farmhouse with quality furnishings) and was exceptional value at $120 a night. Peter and Lois Neville were lovely hosts who told us all about their property - the fact it borders NSW and where you can walk to across their 500+ acres - and enabled the kids to truly enjoy their experiences via the chook, horse and cow feeding. Overall the experience we had was A+. I can't think of another place as comfortable as Glen Robin was for the price and where we could bring our dog for long walks all on the one property and where we could simply enjoy a rural holiday at our own pace."
Guest rating: 5/5  - Mike, QLD - July 08

"We had a terrific time at Glen Robin. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen was excellent and all our needs were met. The fireplace kept us nice and warm and lots of magazines to entertain us infront of the fireplace. We felt like we wanted to stay longer as there was much exploring to do on the farm and walks to take. We will definitely be back and we've told all our friends to visit as well."
Guest rating: 5/5  - Virginia, QLD - June 08

"The cottage was very well presented. It felt like home away from home and they had included everything you could possibly need.
We travelled from Cairns to Victoria and it was definately the highlight.
Good value for money."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at "Glen Robin". The accommodation was excellent, very comfortable, the hosts were very friendly and went out of their way for us.

We all loved the long walks through the farm with the dogs, and resting in front of the fireplace afterwards.
