Well-equipped kitchen that includes fridge/freezer, dishwasher, hotplates & oven, microwave & breadmaker.

The house accommodates 8 people comfortably with features such as expanding dining table,large hot water service. The entrance room is a good children's retreat with games, TV & DVD.

Plasma TV, DVD and micro sound system with CD player, USB & flash card input are in the main living area. There is r/c air conditioning, washing machine,BBQ, outdoor furniture and fish-cleaning bench. Ample parking, including some undercover.

No smoking or pets

NB Families with young children should consider the suitability of this accommodation, being warned of the proximity of the cliff tops (60 metres from the house). Also the stairs area could prove hazardous to very young children

"Our mid November family visit to Oyster Bay Vista was just wonderful. I never dreamed there could be a holiday home that is so well-appointed and comfortable in every way... being a cook I took all my utensils, knives etc with me but was amazed and delighted to find a fully furnished kitchen with every utensil I needed, a dishwasher and even a breadmaker....WOW! Attractions:
There are 3 coastal walking trails and an historic walk of Stansbury identifying important sites. A 5km coastal walking trail from the jetty south to Pitts Cutting has fantastic scenery and wildlife. Often dolphins, pelicans and black swans can be seen.

Stansbury Museum incorporates the history of the town and a recently acquired shell collection. Life from the past and much of the local history is on display at the museum housed in the old school built in 1878 on North Terrace. The museum opens on Wednesdays and Sundays 2.00pm to 4.00pm and daily in January.

Klein's Point Quarry, South Australia's largest limestone quarry established in 1919 by Adelaide Brighton Cement. The ship, Accolade II transports limestone between here and Port Adelaide. You should notice it from the balcony making its regular crossing.

Nearby Wool Bay features a fuchsia nursery and historic lime kiln ruins.

Seaside Markets have become a popular attraction to the town and are held monthly on Saturdays from September to May. Stalls feature an array of products including local produce, craft, plants and food stalls.

Historic Walk of Stansbury: follow the guidebook (available for sale at the Visitor Centre, and see and learn about the historic and noteworthy buildings.

Fresh oysters (in season) available from the beach near caravan park during some holiday periods. See the caravan park reception for times.

Electric BBQs are available along the beachfront. A number of sites provide pleasant areas for cooking and dining.

The town beach has floating pontoons, shaded areas, change-rooms and an outside shower.

Local boat hire available from Port Vincent.

The local golf course has great sea views.

Nice tennis courts in town - hire net from service station.

New renters cannot take the smile off their face the first time they walk out onto Oysterbayvista’s balcony. Being on top of a 45 metre cliff, the 180 degrees view extends from Port Vincent on the north horizon, over to the lights of Adelaide in the east and down to Kangaroo Island and Troubridge lighthouse in the south.

There is usually something going on at the jetty & boat ramp in front for the guests to observe as they sip on a nice cold white wine & taste the local oysters from the oyster beds straight out in the bay. In fact it is not uncommon for many guests to spend most of their visit on the balcony, relaxing & soaking in the scenery. It is also a great vantage point to discover the locals’ fishing spots and when the best time is to take your boat out. If you are up early you get great sunrises that may only be surpassed by drop-dead gorgeous full moons twinkling across the water.

The holiday house design enhances the peaceful atmosphere that is experienced by all guests. And it is easy to see that this is not just another rental house, but one where the owners take great personal pride in presentation. As you drive onto the property, you are welcomed by the well established garden full of colourful seaside plants. Many people appreciate that the large entrance room is also a great children’s entertainment room so the adults can retreat upstairs to the spacious living area with its high ceiling and panoramic views. Features include air-conditioning and 42” plasma TV while there is a dishwasher in the kitchen, which is very well supplied with a large variety of appliances. The main bedroom is a good size with ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. Back downstairs, the other bedroom and bunk room complete the sleeping facilities for eight people, next to the 2nd bathroom. The laundry leads out to the backyard, past the fish cleaning table to where one finds the garden shed well supplied with bicycles, sporting & fishing equipment, BBQ and outdoor furniture.
