Attractions:-
There are 3 coastal walking trails and an historic walk of Stansbury identifying important sites. A 5km coastal walking trail from the jetty south to Pitts Cutting has fantastic scenery and wildlife. Often dolphins, pelicans and black swans can be seen.

Stansbury Museum incorporates the history of the town and a recently acquired Shell Collection. Life from the past and much of the local history is on display at the museum housed in the old school built in 1878 on North Terrace. The museum opens on Wednesdays and Sundays 2.00pm to 4.00pm and daily in January.

Klein's Point Quarry, South Australia's largest Limestone Quarry established in 1919 by Adelaide Brighton Cement. The ship, Accolade II transports limestone between here and Port Adelaide. You should notice it from the balcony making its regular crossing.

Nearby Wool Bay features a fuchsia nursery and historic lime kiln ruins

Seaside Markets have become a popular attraction to the town and are held monthly on Saturdays from September to May. Stalls feature an array of products including local produce, craft, plants and food stalls.

Historic Walk of Stansbury: follow the guidebook (available for sale at the Visitor Centre, and see and learn about the historic and noteworthy buildings.

Fresh oysters (in season) available from the beach near caravan park during some holiday periods. See the caravan park reception for times.

Electric BBQs are available along the beach front. A number of sites provide pleasant areas for cooking and dining.

The balcony is a great place to dine on fresh oysters from the oyster beds seen at low tide.

NB Families with young children should consider the suitability of this accommodation, being warned of the proximity of the cliff tops (60 metres from the house). Also the stairs area could prove hazardous to very young children
