The cottages are set on a 212 acre stock/cropping farm, located about 10 minutes from Stanley on the eastern side.

The cottages all have a super view over farmland, the sea to Stanley and the Nut.

The cottages are very private, (you can't see from one cottage to the other) and all have under cover parking.

Guests are welcome to walk the farm lanes, interact with our pet heifer, Madonna or check out the platypus in the dam. The nearest beach is less than 5 minute drive.

Guests have access to laundry (cold wash, washing machine is free to use, drier costs 2 x $1 coins) .

The Spa cottages have fully equipped kitchens, heat pump and wood heater, 1 queen room and one twin room.

The view can be enjoyed from Master bedroom, lounge and dinning area of all the cottages.

The Stanley/Circular Head area has a lot to offer. Here is a list of just some of the things to do:

If you like bush and natural places, you could spend most of a day at each the following places.

• Rocky Cape National Park (admission fees may apply)

• Stanley (Highfield House (admission fees apply), The Nut (free to walk), beaches to roam (East Inlet is safe to fish and play on).

• Self drive tour, via Smithton to Dismal Swamp Maze and visitors centre on to Marrawah and check out Green Point Beach, after that go to
West Point Beach and have a look at the Aboriginal paintings (if they aren’t closed to the public), drive on to Arthur River, cross the bridge and follow the sign for the edge of the world, enjoy the view of the Arthur River meeting the ocean. Drive gravel road (which is good) from Marrawah to Montagu and check out the view of Mount Cameron on your way to Woolnorth wind farm (free unless you want to go into farm compound), and drive back to Smithton.

• Dismal Swamp (admission fees apply) has 110 m slide.

• Cruise the Arthur River (fees apply) go down stream, see white eagle, walk the natural bush with guide and have a barbeque lunch (all included in fee)

• Mawbanna/Dip Falls, coming back across Black River to Mengha and drive to Milk Shakes Reserve (admission fees may apply) and enjoy the walks. Coming back, go to Edith Creek and check out Allendale Gardens (admission fees apply) these gardens are privately owned and are wonderful (4x4 may be needed for to cross black river).

• Stay at Gateforth Cottages, relax and enjoy the view, listen to some music, watch a video, read or walk the farm lanes, check out the panoramic views and watch the changing moods of the Nut.
