The large Blackwood kitchen is fully equipped, and the lounge has comfortable sofas, TV, VCR, ceiling fan, convenient electric heating, and books and games for all the family.

The large bathroom is delightful and features a deep claw foot bath, separate large shower and pedestal basin. There is a separate toilet and a laundry with both washer and dryer.

Step outside and you will find a private courtyard with barbecue and outdoor setting for casual and relaxed dining with a view to The Nut. Off street parking completes this lovely centrally located property.

Right on the door step you will find Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe and The Swingin' Anchor Cafe, featuring delicious Tasmanian made truffles, fudges, lollies, icecream and sorbets, and be sure to eat at our delightful cafe specialising in local seafood dishes. If you are staying in our accommodation receive a complimentary coffee, tea or hot chocolate with your meal (the best coffee in town of course). Just a few steps will take you to Just for You gift shop, with a great range of specialty souvenirs and gift lines. Just a little further on you will find the most beautiful sandy beaches to explore, a 9 hole golf course on the waterfront, and of course the famous "Nut".

Stanley was settled in 1826, and is breathtaking, with it's quaint cottages built at the base of the "Nut", a 152 metre high monolith rising from the ocean. Stanley is primarily a fishing village, steeped in history, and boasting fresh seafood 356 days of the year. A delightful locality, surrounded by beautiful beaches, quaint cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries.

There are wildlife tours to see Little Penguins and elusive Platypus in their own natural environment. There are also eco day tours to discover the magic of the Tarkine rainforest, waterfalls, and wild coastline. Your guide is 7th generation to Stanley, so is passionate about this beautiful place.

Right next to Ellie's Townhouse is Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe specialising in Tasmanian made fudges, truffles, chocolates, lollies, icecream and sorbets. The Swingin' Anchor Cafe serves the best coffee in town, and specialises in local seafood dishes, gourmet house-baked pies, cakes, scones and the most fantastic pancakes and icecream desserts.

There is so much to see and do, you will need several nights to totally experience this unique corner of the World.
