Ellie's Townhouse is a fully self catering 4 bedroom property situated right in the heart of the township of Stanley. It is tastefully decorated and features 2 queen size bedrooms, with top of the range pillow top q.s. beds, and 2 twin bedrooms (2 of the bedrooms are located upstairs). All beds are fitted with electric blankets and quality linen, the upstairs q.s. bedroom also has a TV.

The Blackwood kitchen is fully equipped, and the lounge has brand new leather sofas, large TV, DVD, VCR, ceiling fan, convenient electric heating, books and games for all the family, and lego for the kids.

The large bathroom features a fully restored deep claw foot bath, separate walk in shower and pedestal basin. There is a separate toilet and a laundry with both washer and dryer.

Step outside and you will find a private courtyard with barbecue and outdoor furniture for casual and relaxed dining with a view to The Nut.
Private off street parking completes this lovely centrally located property.

It really is a home away from home with all the conveniences at your fingertips.

Right on the door step you will find Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe and The Swingin' Anchor Cafe, featuring delicious Tasmanian made truffles, fudges, lollies, icecream and sorbets, and be sure to eat at our delightful cafe specialising in local seafood dishes including our famous Tasmanian Scallop Pies. Just a little further on you will find the most beautiful sandy beaches to explore and pristine ocean, a 9 hole golf course on the waterfront, and of course the famous "Nut" and chairlift.
There are lovely restaurants catering for evening diners. Visitors will find many things to see and do in and around this beautiful North West Coast region, including wildlife viewing, seal cruises, 4 wheel drive tours of the Tarkine, river cruises and fishing for wild trout.

Locality

Stanley was settled in 1826, and is breathtaking, with it's quaint cottages built at the base of the "Nut", a 152 metre high monolith rising from the ocean. Stanley is primarily a fishing village, steeped in history, and boasting fresh seafood 356 days of the year. A delightful locality, surrounded by beautiful beaches, quaint cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries.

Attractions

There are wildlife tours to see Little Penguins and seals. There are eco 4 WD day tours to discover the magic of the Tarkine rainforest, waterfalls, and wild coastline. There are also river cruises,and Tasmanian Devil Spotting, just to name a few.

Right next to Ellie's Townhouse is Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe and Icecreamery, specialising in Tasmanian made fudges, truffles, chocolates, lollies, icecream and sorbets. The Swingin' Anchor Cafe serves the best coffee in town, and specialises in local seafood dishes, gourmet house-baked pies including our famous Tasmanian Scallop Pies, cakes, scones and the most fantastic pancakes and icecream desserts. A lovely breakfast menu is available all day.

There is so much to see and do, you will need several nights to totally experience this unique corner of the World.
