Ellie's Studio Apartment is privately tucked away, yet is right in the heart of the township of Stanley with delightful cafes, restaurants, galleries and shops on the doorstep.
Just a short stroll takes you to beautiful pristine beaches and clear blue water, a fantastic 9 hole golf course on the waterfront, and the icon of the town "The Nut", a 152 metre high monolith rising from the ocean.
The Apartment is cosy, but has plenty of room, with a comfortable queen size pillow top queen bed fitted with a luxurious microfibre overlay, electric blanket, quality linen, plenty of pillows, sherpa blanket and woollen doona. The sitting room area has recliner chairs and an electric log fire heater. The kitchenette and dining suite feature Tasmanian Oak timbers, and a tastefully decorated ensuite has a walk in shower, pedestal basin, heated towel rail with plenty of soft towels.
To add to this lovely property, it has its own private paved courtyard with views to the chairlift and The Nut.
There is a TV and DVD player, plus books, magazines and a deck of cards, for your enjoyment. A private off street car park completes this property.

It's private and restful, but close to everything in the town. Only a short stroll to the beach.

Locality

Stanley is a beautiful historic seaside village, settled in 1826, and holds all the charm and quaintness of yesteryear, with the houses and shops built at the base of The Nut. There is just so much to see and do whilst in Stanley, it is highly recommended to stay at least 3 days.
Stanley has fresh seafood available every day of the year, and The Swingin' Anchor Cafe/Restaurant showcases some fine seafood dishes including our famous Tasmanian Scallop Pies, and serves lovely breakfasts and GREAT coffee !!!
While in Stanley be sure to visit Ye Olde Chocolate Shoppe, with its huge variety of Tasmanian made fudges, chocolate truffles, lollies, creamy ice-cream and delightful sorbets - an absolute treat for the senses.
The 9 hole golf course is situated right on the waterfront, and you could stroll forever on the beautiful clean, sandy beaches which surround this magical place.

Stanley is renowned for its abundant wildlife. View Little Penguins in their own natural habitat, go on a seal cruise, or a cruise along the Arthur River.
You'll be amazed, as not far away are some of the most beautiful temperate rainforests in Tasmania - The Tarkine. There are historic buildings to explore in Stanley, delightful galleries, superb cafes and restaurants, sandy beaches and clear blue water. Climb to the top of The Nut (or take the chairlift), the view at the top is breathtaking. Take an early morning or evening stroll around the town - it's heaven on earth.
