Ellie's Spa Cottage is a delight.
It showcases a beautifully decorated queen size bedroom, the most comfortable bed imaginable, with quality linen and furnishings for a perfectly restful nights sleep. The large tiled bathroom is a real feature, with double hydrotherapy massage spa, cathedral ceiling and skylights for warmth and charm, and a view to the Nut.
There is a kitchenette / dining area featuring beautiful Tasmanian Blackwood timber flooring, and a cosy sitting room area, carpeted with comfortable lounge chairs, TV, VCR, DVD and a charming old world style electric log heater. Books, magazines, plunger coffee and complimentary port are provided for your convenience and enjoyment.
This cottage is warm, sunny and charming, and is situated right in the heart of Stanley, with cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries right on the door step.
Just a short stroll takes you to beautiful beaches, a 9 hole golf course situated on the waterfront, and of course to the famous Stanley Nut and chairlift.
To complete this immaculate property, there is a private off-street car park.

Stanley is an historic seaside village, with all the grace and charm of yesteryear, with the village made up of delightful cottages and buildings built at the base of the Nut, a 152 metre high monolith rising from the ocean. Stanley is set out on a peninsula, with clean sandy beaches and clear blue ocean all around.
Stanley is located on the far North West tip of Tasmania, 1.5 hours drive from Devonport, 3 hours drive from Launceston and 5 hours from the city of Hobart.

There is just so much to see and do whilst in Stanley, a stay of at least 3 nights is highly recommended. The Nut must be climbed, or take the easier way with the chairlift, the view from the top is breathtaking. There are lots of charming shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants in Stanley to browse. Fresh seafood is available in Stanley all year round, and The Swingin' Anchor Cafe/Restaurant opposite the hotel specialises in superb seafood dishes, and the best coffee !!!!!
The Stanley region is renowned for its wildlife, with Platypus and Little Penguin viewing in the wild (the tour guide is 7th generation to Stanley and loves showing people these delightful creatures in their own habitat). Ellie's Spa Cottage has one bedroom with queen size bed. All bedding is supplied and the bed fully made up with superb quality linen. Electric blanket is fitted. There are plenty of pillows, a woollen doona and blankets.
