Ellie's Spa Cottage is a delight.
It showcases a beautifully decorated queen size bedroom with superior pillow top queen size bed fitted with quality bedding and pillows for a perfectly restful nights sleep.
The large tiled bathroom is a real feature, with double corner hydrotherapy massage spa, cathedral ceiling and skylights for warmth and charm.
There is a kitchenette / dining area featuring beautiful Tasmanian Blackwood timber flooring, and a cosy sitting room area, carpeted, with top quality leather recliner chairs, TV, VCR, DVD with a range of DVD's and a charming old world style electric log heater. Books, magazines, plunger coffee and complimentary port and Tasmanian chocolates are provided for your enjoyment; and generous continental breakfast provisions are provided for your convenience.
This cottage is warm, sunny and charming, and is situated right in the heart of Stanley, with cafes, restaurants, shops and galleries right on the door step.
Just a short stroll takes you to beautiful sandy beaches, a 9 hole golf course situated on the waterfront, and of course the famous Stanley Nut and chairlift.
To complete this immaculate property, there is a private off-street car park.
Be sure to sit back after a great day and relax with a glass of port and delicious Tasmanian chocolates, and take a soothing spa before retiring at the end of the day.

Our guests have all commented that everything was "perfect", and we can even boast we have had marriage proposals within this delightful cottage.
Guests from the USA said it was the most comfortable bed they had slept in, and they had holidayed all around the world !

Locality

Stanley is an historic seaside village, with all the grace and charm of yesteryear, with the village made up of delightful cottages and buildings built at the base of the Nut, a 152 metre high monolith rising from the ocean. Stanley is set out on a peninsula, with clean sandy beaches and clear blue ocean all around.
Stanley is located on the far North West tip of Tasmania, 1.5 hours drive from Devonport, 3 hours drive from Launceston and 5 hours from the city of Hobart.

Attractions

There is just so much to see and do whilst in Stanley, a stay of at least 3 nights is highly recommended. The Nut must be climbed, or take the easier way with the chairlift, the view from the top is breathtaking. There are many charming shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants in Stanley to browse. Fresh seafood is available in Stanley all year round, and The Swingin' Anchor Cafe/Restaurant opposite the hotel specialises in superb seafood dishes including our famous Tasmanian Scallop Pies, and the best breakfasts and coffee in town !!!!!
The Stanley region is renowned for its wildlife, with Little Penguin viewing in the wild, seal cruises and river cruises. There are 4 wheel drive eco day tours to the Tarkine rainforests and an expert fishing guide (trout and fresh water).

Ellie's Spa Cottage features a double hydrotherapy massage spa. The Base Rates are $185 for 1 night or $175 per night for 2 or more nights. Weekly rates on request. Rate includes generous continental breakfast provisions, complimentary port, Tasmanian-made chocolates and top quality linen and towels. Also toiletries and candles.
There is a 2 night minimum stay for weekend stays and from 24th December to 31st January minimum 2 nights.
3 night minimum stay over Easter.
