Beachside Retreat West Inlet is situated on West Inlet Farm, a beachfront cattle property, three kilometres from Stanley; a fishing port and historic village, on the north west coast of Tasmania.

Here, guests can stay in a 3 bedroom lodge located in a seaside garden, 35 metres from the beach, or just for couples, unique, award winning ecocabins and luxury nature cabins - one even has its own outdoor spa pool, situated on the sand dunes overlooking the ocean.
All cabins are self catering with fully equipped kitchens and linen is provided; some have airconditioning and dishwashers.

On property activities include swimming, fishing and beach combing in the sheltered inlet, nature walks, wild oyster collecting and farm walks. Identify the shore birds with the assistance of your hosts, field guides and birding scope. Bird watching courses for beginners are available by arrangement.

Your hosts also provide interesting four-wheel drive tours into the Tarkine rain forest and Rocky National Park, by 7 seater Landrover.

A Bell Long-Ranger helicopter operates short scenic flights and longer Tarkine wilderness tours from the private helipad next to the cabins. Make up a party with other guests and enjoy an amazing experience.

For guests who wish to keep in contact with the outside world, Telstra mobile service on the property is excellent and complimentary
WiFi internet coverage, with your own computer, is available.

For disabled facilities please contact your hosts for more information on the fully accessible bathroom, which is adjacent to the laundry.

To ensure privacy and maintain security, only resident guests are invited onto the property.

Your hosts, Chris and Janette, previously from the UK, are committed to making your stay a memorable one and invite you to stay on their beautiful property.

As we are a registered Land for Wildlife property, we do not accept pets. Sorry.
As the property is a destination and not a stopover, bookings of a minimum of two nights are required.
