Mariton House offers quality bed and breakfast accommodation and warm hospitality in a beautiful 1880s country home on the east coast of Tasmania.
Mariton House is located on 50 acres at St Marys, a picturesque small town only 10km from the famous East Coast beaches.
Mariton House is suitable for singles, couples, families and small groups. Children and well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Horse riding is also available. There is a variety of trail rides through the bush, including one to a secret cave location, and also rides along the East Coast beaches.

Locality
Mariton House is at St Marys, a pretty town only 10km from the ocean and surrounded by mountains, rainforest, rivers, waterfalls and farmland.
Mariton House is within easy walking distance of the centre of town with access to essentials such as the supermarket, post office, newsagency and garage and the food and drink at e.Scape wilderness cafe and art gallery, the Purple Possum health food store and cafe, the Happy Belly Deli, the Coach House Cafe and the historic St Marys Hotel.
As welll as horse riding at Mariton House, you can also try the range of local activities including the hard, steep climb to the top of St Patrick's or Paddy's Head for spectacular 360 degree views or the more gentle climb up South Sister where amazing views of the east coast and inland can be seen.
The Evercreech Forest Reserve, near Fingal, with the famous White Knights - tallest white gums in the world and the cascading Mathinna Falls are just some of the sights on the western side of St Marys.
On the eastern side there are all the beautiful, clean beaches,the Douglas Aspley National Park, Bicheno with its fairy penguins, the fishing port of St Helens and the famous Bay of Fires all within a short driving distance of Mariton House.
