The delightful, spacious, first floor Postmaster's Suite, popular with brides has Queen bed, en suite bathroom, bath robes, hairdryer, reverse cycle air conditioning, electric fireplace, electric blankets, sofa, tea/coffee making, refrig, TV, elegant furnishings & views to Queen Mary Botanic Gardens through beautiful arched windows.

The Telegrapher's Suite, themed in black, white, silver and gold, also on the first floor, with Queen bed, petite en suite bathroom, bath robes, electric blankets, fan, air conditioner, tea & coffee making, hairdryer and heating is cosy and looks out to the garden. It has an adjoining sitting room with garden views that converts to a single bedroom if needed for a third guest.

The first floor Guest Lounge, Dining area, Kitchen and Library offer a spacious environment to relax in after a busy day out and about with options to prepare a meal at home (emergency dinner kit for you just in case), have a cup of tea or coffee with biscuits, play your favourite music, watch TV or curl up in front of the open fire. For cold days or nights there is an extra gas fire or for warmer weather there is a reverse cycle air conditioner. The first floor roof garden is the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or a BBQ and glass of wine & look over to the Queen Mary Botanic Gardens.

It's an easy walk to local stores including the licenced supermarket, laundrette, pharmacy, hotels, museums, churches, heritage buildings and Northern Grampians Shire Offices and Library.

St Arnaud is a delightful, friendly town to visit and offers a relaxed rural environment with many activities including bushwalking, fishing, golf, tennis, gold prospecting, flora and fauna studies, The St Arnaud Agricultural Show (early October), The St Arnaud Festival (early November), horse racing, music and cultural events.

Delicous breakfast ingredients available($10 continental, $15 full breakfast per person per night) to prepare at your leisure or bring your own. We can accommodate five guests with two Queen beds and one single bed. Wireless Internet access available for you to catch up on your email and separate workspace for busy executives.

The open plan guest living area includes a lounge with large flat screen TV, DVD, fireplace. Dining area with seating for six guests. Fully equipped kitchen to make your stay truly comfortable. Picnic basket for guests to use when travelling out for the day and games, jigsaw puzzles, books and magazines for spending time relaxing. The adjoining roof garden with BBQ adds a delightful outdoor area. Undercover parking can be provided if required.

For exclusive use of guest facilities when booking one suite only, it is an extra $50 per night.

St Arnaud Old Post Office is listed in the St Arnaud Cultural Heritage Trail as Old Post & Telegraph Office. It operated as a Post Office from 1866 until 1924 and is built in the Victorian Romanesque style. A second storey for the Postmaster to reside in was added in 1895. Since 1925 it has housed the Electoral Office, the Clerk of Courts,an Air Training Corps and Scouts. The Cultural Heritage Trail includes 34 buildings and can be walked or driven
