"Loved the house the moment we set eyes on it. A very welcoming atmosphere, as soon as we opened the door, it felt like home. There was five adults in our group, plenty of room for everyone. We came for the weekedn to attend a wedding so would love to come back and have more time just to relax and unwind.

"It was a lovely home, that was private and peacefull. The kids loved the visits from the local wild life. I loved the ability to be able to let my children explore the large bush yard on their own and we never felt crowded even though their was 10 of us."

"We had a Hens Night there for 10 of us, and it was great. Plenty of room, big kitchen and plenty of room to party! The house was clean, and once we got the fire going properly it was warm and toasty. Much better than hiring a hotel room! We absolutely loved it. We will definitely go there again!! "

"This place is a delightful sanctuary in the beautiful surrounds of the national park. The accomodation is excellent. Our two children (5 and 7) loved the place. It was 45 mins drive to the theme parks on the Gold coast and a great relief to leave them behind again at the end of the day. The walks to waterfalls were magical and also held the kids attention. The birds, possums, pademelons and cat were also a great distraction. Crack open a nice bottle of red and relax into this superb house - you won't regret it. 4 days was not enough."

"The house was absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room for the 5 of us. The surroundings and wild life was beautiful. Everything we needed was provided for and the fire place kept us cozy and warm at night. Highly recommend this for anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway."

"Currawong Chorals was perfect for our group of six adults. The accommodation was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed and more (we didn't use the spa bath but, even though it was early November, we had to use the combustion heater). The natural setting was excellent for bird life at your doorstep and we had plenty of that. Retreat is an apt description. It is perfectly located with a two minute walk to the Canyon Lookout and several wonderful wlaking trails. Les was most helpful not only with the booking but with advice on how to get there and what to do in the area. The local contact, Helen, was a gem. We could not have been looked after any better. Highly recommended. - Claus, SA Nov '10"

"Currawong Chorals was a perfect place to take a break from it all. With our adult children and teenager we spent a beautiful Christmas in July. It was made all the more special with a surprise gift left by the property manager. It was a touch of heaven on earth to wake up to the birdlife and the night skies were amazing. Cant wait to go back and rejuvinate again. "

"This house was magical right from when you arrive on the gravel drive and open the front gate and look down the windy pathway to the picturesque house. It is a welcoming comfortable place to stay that is close to everything you would want to do whilst at Springbrook but feels far away and secluded when inside. Beautiful secret garden trails to follow, abundant bird watching, gentle misty rain, welcoming log fire, comfortable beds, open plan living. Amazing place to go with family and friends. Truly loved our stay and would love to stay again. Great christmas in July location."

"We spent 10 nights and we were sorry to leave. Each afternoon we were visited by Padmalions, and numerous birds. The owners supplied us with bird seed to feed the birds. We hand fed a King parrot and I held my arm out and it landed on my arm. We also feed Currawongs, Female bower birds, red parrots, scrub turkey and others. A wonderful place to stay for families or anyone."
