The river has a healthy population of bass, bream and flathead (just to name a few species) which will satisfy the keen angler.

Located on the Macleay River at Kempsey between Coffs Harbour and Port Macquarie. Distance form Sydney is approximately five hours and from Brisbane six and a half hours.

You start your unique houseboat holiday at Kempsey where you can conveniently park your vehicle, off the street, on the business premises.

If making the houseboat holiday a part of a larger holiday, the beautiful Macleay Valley Coast offers a variety of activities and places to visit.

The houseboats are fully self-contained with a well equipped kitchen including a marine fridge with freezer, four burner cooktop and grill. There is a barbeque that may be used on the side of the deck so you can cook while enjoying the river view. If you have spent part of your day fishing and have caught yourself a 'big one' you know you have all the facilities you need to create a delicious meal. Fresh produce is also available from the towns and villages that are located along the banks of the Macleay River. If you want to really relax there are riverside hotels where you can moor the houseboat and dine out a choice of delicious cuisines.

There is an toilet,shower and hand basin on board the houseboat. A modern LCD television screen and DVD player are perfect for those evenings when you want to cosy up and enjoy a good movie together. The television screen has a swivel base and can be watched from either the dining area or the comfort of the double bed. There is even an MP3 player for the music lover.
