Holiday house

Recently constructed, this luxurious holiday home is accessed by water taxi, right to its own jetty. It comes with a dinghy with outboard motor and kayaks. Living is either on the covered deck with barbecue, table for 10, loungers and magnificent views down the waterway, or internally with a fully equipped gourmet kitchen and dining table for 8, plus a well-equipped leisure area. The large 4th bedroom includes desk and office area.

A short stroll away is the Couran Point Resort with bar and restaurant, where guests are welcome. Also close by is the Couran Cove Resort with a bar, restaurants and a shop.

The 8 km long fine surfing beach is reached by a gentle 2 km walk over gently undulating sandy bush tracks. Flora and fauna (including the unique golden wallaby) are protected on this largely National Trust island.

The near-mainland can provide a fun day out at a themepark (Movie World, Dreamworld, Wet 'n' Wild, Sea-World), or follow the Heritage wine trail into Mt Tamborine and Canungra, before getting back to the tranquility of the Retreat
