Couran Escape, situated at Couran Point, South Strabroke Island, is a
water front holiday home which has three bedrooms sleeping up to 7, (with an extra 2 on the fold out sofa), large living and dining rooms, rumpus/family-television room, an all stainless steel modern kitchen overlooking an enormous covered deck with water frontage and air conditioning.

The property features its own pontoon and white sand beach. The home is spacious open plan living at its best, with a dining area for 8 people, cosy lounge with video and DVD and stereo, a huge outside deck facing due North with expansive water views, washing machine and dryer.

There is an established children's outside play area with swings, sand pit, all fully fenced so families with young kids can relax. Come and enjoy our holiday home.

Special Features

Couran Escape guests also have full access to the facilites of the Couran Point Resort, a few minutes walk from the house.

The facilities include a magnificent lagoon pool, licensed restaurant and bar, tropical poolside beer garden and the swim-up pool bar, a range of bikes for adults and children, games & recreation room, movie hire, a children's playground, a shop that stocks basic food items, heated spa, full size tennis court, canoes, fishing rods and water volleyball equipment. The resort also operates a shuttle service to the beach side of the island for surfing, fishing, fabulous walks and 27 kms of virgin beach and bushland protected by the National Trust. You can even hire a 4WD with driver for tours of the island or trips to the beach.

How to get there

Transport to and from the Island is an easy 15 minute water taxi ride from Runaway Bay Marina right to your private pontoon at the front of the house. Call Gold Coast Water Taxis on 0418 759 789. Or if you have your own boat, moor it at your door.
