Abundant camping sites, fishing, walking tracks, 4WD opportunities abound in our National Parks or Conservation areas. These areas all make up the Tarkine Region - a expansive cool climate rainforest bordering almost the length of the Arthur River to Corinna and across to Waratah and Hellyer Gorge. Tasmania's North West is accessible by car, just turn right on Bass Highway if disembarking from the Spirit of Tasmania, or head west from Launceston, Devonport or Burnie airports.

Tall Timbers Adventure Tours provides a fully guided day tour through the pristine Tarkine Wilderness to the Great Southern Ocean and back. Includes gourmet lunch & beverages. Departs daily on request. Tours operate from 1 Sept to 31 May each year, except on Christmas Day. Miniumum of 2 people required to operate tour.
