Platypus Valley is a Swiss inspired B&B located only 3 minutes from Lake Barrington,10 minutes from Sheffield, which is overlooked by magnificent Mount Roland.

Guests can take in the sights at Cradle Mountain, World Heritage Area, or visit nearby Lake Barrington international rowing course. Bring your own kayak or canoe !

Within a short drive are the northwest coast, Mole Creek caves, trout and salmon fishing and local vineyards.

Relax on the covered verandahs,or sit in the Gazebo by the dam and you may even see the platypus play.

Plenty of acreage to stretch your legs and plenty of solitude to simply relax!

Feel instantly at home from the moment you arrive and be spoiled and indulged with complimentary chocolates, home made cakes and biscuits.
