Be Our Guest Cottage is a delightfully renovated historical cottage (circa 1910).
Downstairs there are 2 bderooms, cosy lounge with fireplace, country kitchen, modern bathroom & laundry. Upstairs is a private parent retreat with huge bedroom, ensuite, lounge and a balcony boasting views of Mt Roland and the ranges.
You are just a short stroll to town to view the famous murals before indulging yourself at the local Highland Scone Shop.
Local attractionsFrom Sheffield you can take a trip to Lake Barrington to see the world class rowing course. Perhaps trout fishing is your interest or spend a day exploring the caves at Mole Creek.
Call into the local vineyards or drive to Latrobe to pick up an antique or two or have a fun day at Tazmazia & the Village of Lower Crackpot.
Also, Sheffield offers easy access to Cradle Mountain and is often referred to as 'The Gateway to Cradle Mountain". Cottage HistoryBe Our Guest Cottage was once known as "Nurse Riley's Baby Hospital" as it was Sheffield's longest running Maternity Hospital, operating from 1917 to 1935 under the care of Nurse Flora Riley.
The original fireplace has been lovingly restored and the floorboards stripped and polished to their former glory.
