Although Second Valley is a lot of fun in summer, it is also a beautiful place to enjoy wintery weather. Tuck yourself up in bed with our feather quilts, electric blankets and a good book, or just enjoy walking the green hills , looking out to sea in nearby Deep Creek Conservation Park

Boathaven Beach House is home to blue wrens, willy wagtails, fantails, shrike thrushes and tame magpies but many other species come to visit. We have some brochures and books on the local birdlife for guests. Nearby Deep Creek conservation Park is home to many species that can be seen while bushwalking there.

10 mins drive to Deep Creek Conservation Park where there are many marked walking trails. Walks over the hills can be taken within second valley starting from the beach house.

Public transport within 10 minute walk, Transport can be arranged from closest public transport facility at no extra charge, Bus service.

The Sealink bus service will deliver people to Second Valley from Adelaide or places between once a day. Pick up from bus stop can be arranged as it is a 15 minute walk. Community bus availabloe on thursdays for shopping trips to Normanville and Yankalilla
