Seagrass Cottage is a beautifully restored 1870's stone cottage. The stylish interior is a wonderful combination of rustic antique pieces and modern furniture and fittings.
It is ideal for couples wanting a special place to stay and families looking for a weekend away.
The cottage oozes the simplicity of its era, it has a cosy separate lounge room in the old stone building with open fireplace to warm the winter evenings, it also has the added comfort of reverse cycle airconditioning.
The main bedroom has a king sized bed and the other bedroom is a twin with 2 single beds. We also have a double sofa bed in the Lounge room.
Other features include a colour TV, DVD, CD player, Sony Playstation, fully equiped kitchen with microwave oven, laundry facilities and old styled double basins and double showers in huge bathroom.
Pets are welcome (after negotiation) outside. Seagrass Cottage has a large fenced yard and kennel, so all you need to bring is their bedding and toys.
On arrival guests can unwind with a delicous cup of coffee made with locally roasted ground coffee. The breakfast hamper is stocked with fresh regional produce including bacon, eggs and tomato for your first morning.
Simply relax in the warmth and comfort of the surroundings.

LocalitySeagrass is only a short walk to go antique shopping in the main shopping area of town.
You can also take a walk on the walking trail to the jetty and along Maria Creek.
Visit the Big Lobster on the main highway and take a tour of the relocated Historic Cape Jaffa Lighthouse during school holidays.
Every thing is only a short walk away. AttractionsKingston is located at the heart of Lacepede Bay and is a popular fishing port, it holds a very successful local Fishing Competition in January. Surf fishing, fishing from a boat in the bay or throwing a line in from the jetty are all popular with visitors and locals. Lacepede Bay also offers fantastic conditions for swimming, sailing and wind surfing.

this is a rapidly growing wine region with premium grapes being produced in terra rossa soil in the moderate climate by the sea.
The Coorong National Park is ideal for bird watching with 230 species, wonderful for keen bird watchers. For the historically minded take the Journey to Gold Walk at Chinamans Well Historic Site.
Drive along the the beach to Cape Jaffa, watch out and you may see the local sealions and dolphins! You can also drive north to the Granites via Long Beach(conditions permitting).
