Belle Cottage is a spacious fully self-contained 2 bedroom cottage ideal for overnight or longer stays. It features all modern facilities including full kitchen and laundry, telephone, TV, electric, wood heater, electric blankets and lock-up garage.

The cottage is set in a fully enclosed cottage garden in a rural setting which can be enjoyed from an outdoor deck area complete with a BBQ.

The cottage is located in town and is the perfect base for exploying the northeast region. From the cottage a short stroll will take you to the unique tourist attraction of the Forest Ecocentre.

North East Tasmania

The Scottsdale Forest Ecocentre is only a few doors from the cottage and is a fascinating building eco-friendly building providing a fascinating insight into the present and past of the north east of Tasmania.

The beautiful Bridestowe Estate Lavender Farm (the largest in the southern hemisphere) is only 20 minutes drive, and from here you can continue to explore the famous vineyards of the Piper's Brook and Pier's River localities.

Forest Parks and rainforest are a feature of the northeast with excellent bushwalking.

The lovely seaside village and beaches of Bridport are 15 minutes drive away and the home of the famous Barnbougle Links Golf course.

Scottsdale is only 1 hour's drive from Launceston via the scenic mountain pass of the Sideling (Tasman Highway A3) and is the perfect base for the start of your tour of Tasmania. Scottsdale can also be reached via Lilydale, and via the east coast town of St. Helens.

Scottsdale is the heart of the north-east, a vibrant friendly agricultural and forestry town with stunning rural scenery. Belle Cottage is the perfect base for exploring all the region has to offer.
