Our beautiful new penthouse villa enjoys all the creature comforts, including ceiling fans, fully-ducted air conditioning, luxury furniture and fittings, and of course a stunning absolute beachfront location on the bluff overlooking Wakki Beach at Scott's Head.

The centrepiece of the villa is the 90 sq.m. open-plan living, dining and kitchen area. With a vaulted ceiling and wall of windows, it provides spectacular views over Wakki Beach and the Pacific Ocean, which are best enjoyed from the 30 sq.m. sun-drenched beach terrace. The penthouse occupies the entire top floor of the building.

Inside, the living area is furnished with stylish sand leather sofas, from which you can enjoy the view or catch up on the outside world on the Austar-equipped flat screen television. The dining area features a beautiful handcrafted tasmanian oak dining table which seats eight people comfortably. The honey-coloured wood kitchen will delight any chef's heart with it's state-of-the-art gas stove and oven, double-drawer dishwasher, built-in microwave and refridgerator/freezer.

There are three spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1 overlooks the side terrace with views over the countryside and Yarahappinni mountain. It has a queen-sized bed and features a walk-in robe and en suite bathroom. The louvres through to the main living area are an exquisite touch that allow you to lie in bed and listen to the surf crashing on Wakki beach below. Bedroom 2 has a queen-sized bed and looks out across the countryside. Bedroom 3 is light and airy with a double bed overlooking the garden.

In addition to the en suite, there is a huge family bathroom with oversize shower and bath. There's an internal laundry with washing machine, but naturally, our bed linen, bath and beach towels are yours while you stay with us.

Taking the stairs down to the grounds of the villa you will find a BBQ and lawn area. One entrance leads directly out onto Wakki bluff, where you can take the path down to the beach or roam along the grassy coastal walking track.

There's plenty to do in Scott's Head and around the Nambucca Valley!

Scott's Head has three beautiful sandy beaches which are popular for swimming, surfing, sunbathing, sailing and snorkelling, including Wakki Beach right on your doorstep.

If fishing's your go, put your boat out in Warrell Creek or on the oceans around Scott's. Macksville is a major fishing and oyster farming centre, so if you don't land the big one yourself, you'll still be able to get hold of a beautiful catch of fresh seafood on the way back to home base! If you're a sporting angler, you might want to check the local tourist information for when the fishing tournaments are on.

Scott's Head is well-known to nature lovers as a whale-watching area. If you're here in the spring, you've got the best chance of seeing the whales which jump out of the ocean right in front of our house every year. If you're really lucky you might see a whole pod spouting at once - my family has seen more than twenty whales in the same pod! There's also the Solitary Islands Marine Park.

The penthouse villa occupies the entire top floor of the building. The ground floor, the beachhouse villa, is also available for holidays on Take A Break. Please look for the beachhouse listing or get in touch if you would like to rent both properties for a larger group.
