Cottage

The enchanted grounds of Clarendon are a truly delightful setting tucked quietly away off the main Mount Dandenong Tourist Road.

The beautiful romantic, self contained, cottages are totally private and feature all the creature comforts that anyone would need. They are situated within easy walking distance of the popular Sassafras Village and Sherbrooke Forest and close to the excellent shopping and restaurants of Olinda and Mt Dandenong Villages.

Three cosy 1 and 2 bedroom cottages each with it's own individual charm are located separately on the two acre property. Log fires, spas, air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens and private decks are just some of the many features. TV, DVD and CD's are in each cottage for your entertainment.

Camellia Cottage - this was a surprise gift from our daughter. She could not have chosen better - beautiful setting and the cottage was so comfortable with exceptional attention to detail.

Dovecote Cottage - Absolutely spot on -everything covered (in style). In the words of McArthur - I shall return!!!

The beauty of our secluded acreage with it's English country gardens is a world away from the pressures of modern day living and we invite you to share it with us for a relaxing weekend or maybe an extended stay. There is so much to experience in the magnificent Dandenong Ranges & Yarra Valley area so why not enjoy your time sightseeing and sampling the local fare and then at the end of the day return to your cosy, comfortable cottage, put your feet up in front of the log fire with a glass of excellent Yarra Valley wine and watch as the mist comes down over the trees on a cold winters night. There are also many additional things to do in the immediate vicinity of Clarendon. Within minutes you can stroll in Sherbrooke Forest, be wandering around the lively and colourful villages, or be visiting six out of the eight Great Gardens of Melbourne found in the Dandenong Ranges.

Many antique shops house treasures right next to contemporary galleries and studios filled with craft, sculpture and decorator items created by the many artists who have made their home here. Great restaurants, cafes and tearooms abound suiting a wide range of palates and pockets.
