Holiday apartment, Self-contained apartment

Deluxe 2 bedroom apartment, maintained at a high standard. Featuring 2 spacious bedrooms with queen size beds, fitted with quality linen. Master bedroom has water view. Bathroom has bath,toiletries supplied and a view.
Kitchen is fully equipped with hot plate, oven,microwave,dishwasher,espresso coffee machine,large refrigerator,crokery,cuttlery,pots & pans etc.There is olso a washing machine & dryer.Lounge/Dining room is a large relaxing area with french doors opening onto sunny north facing balcony. For entertainment there is a T.V.,dvd,stereo,books,magazines and games. There is access to 'Nutgrove Beach at rear of property, a delightful courtyard with B.B.Q. and off street parking.
There is a mini bar in apartment and also a range of wines available for purchase.

Locality

Property is located 3 km south of C.B.D.in Sandy Bay, 1 km past Casino on Nutgrove Beach, in one of Hobarts most desirable residential locations.
Bus stop 100 metres, Gourmet deli/grocery shop 50 metres. Prossers award winning seafood restaurant is a 10 minute walk along beach.Plus numerous other restaurants and services close by.

Property

Property was built in 1840 as the Beach Tavern. Was only operated as an hotel for about 25 years. It has since then been a private home and has been occupied by some notable and colourful charactors. It has hosted horseracing on the beach, the first game of lawn bowls in Tasmania and possibly Australia. Today it is classified by the National Trust as a 'building of significence'. There are 3 floors,2 are apartments and Ted & Christine (the owners )live on the other one.
