Tompsett Towers is situated in the township of Bass, approximately 95 minutes from Melbourne.

The Bass Valley is a picturesque setting, perfect for scenic drives into the hills, and plenty of bushwalking trails.

There are many nearby attractions including: The Woolamai Picnic Races, The Giant Worm at Bass, Phillip Island's many tourist spots i.e. Penguin Parade and Seal Rock, Wonthaggi 's Historical Coal Mine.

Nearby beaches including Kilcunda and Cape Patterson, and don't forget the great fishing and boating in Western Port Bay and San Remo. A pleasant afternoon can also be spent at one of the numerous wineries in the region. Shop for locally produced thermal wear in Bass.
