Holiday house

Wind down and relax at The Penguin Place. Watch the kitesurfers from the dining room or back deck or wander down to the beach for a spot of fishing, swimming, sunbaking or even a picnic. You could even try kitesurfing or windsurfing yourself. Just turn left at the bottom of the street and wander up to the surf club to hire.

Inside you will find a fully equipped kitchen including a microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. A slow cooker is available so you can spend the day enjoying the beach lifestyle without worrying about cooking. Alternatively, try one of the restaurants only a short walk away - Thai, Mexican, fish and chips or Indian.

All linen is provided. A washing machine is available should you need it.

TV, DVD, stereo and board games are supplied for those times you want to relax indoors.

Penguin Island is just around the corner - a short cycle or drive away. Pack a picnic, catch the ferry and spend the day on the island.

Visit Point Peron to fish or to take in the spectacular views of Shoalwater Bay and Mangles Bay.
There is also the Rockingham coffee strip and foreshore.

Shopping centres abound. IGA supermarket is 2 blocks away. Rockingham City, a short drive away. More shops and takeaway food outlets are close by on Read St.

A bus stop is at the bottom of the stree that will take you to Rockingham train/bus station if you want to explore further afield.
